We will be on holiday for about a week as always at this time of the year. Steve and Andy are returning to England for a week so I will let you know when we start working again.

We had another really good day today, it was Pat and Mikes last trip and I wish them a safe journey home and look forward to seeing the again in the spring. We also had our friend John Mitton on board (he caught a record Spearfish with us last year). Everyone caught some good fish with plenty of Barracuda, Kingfish and to finish it off John caught a huge Garfish possible another record for him.

We had Tim and Dave back with us today, earlier in the year they both caught Blue Marlin with us but today they were trying the bottom fishing. They were joined by Dave Diamond, a good friend who has been many times before. We all had a great day and caught some nice fish, we all caught loads of Sea Breams up to about 3lb most of which we released. Dave also caught a nice Butterfly Ray and the other Dave had great fun catching an Atlantic Tuna on very light tackle.

We had a very enjoyable day at sea today. On board were Viktor and his 6 year old son Alexander all the way from Russia, Alex had a great time catching the small boca while dad enjoyed the catches of Kingfish. Dave Brain also had Kingfish as well as lots of reef fish and GC resident Chris Reeves had barracuda. Using a fly rod all day was Mark Seed  who caught one nice barracuda but disappointingly lost 2 other nice sized fish.

Mike and Pat were with 3 clients from Italy today and we had a very good day. We caught Barracuda, Atlantic Tuna, Kingfish and Mike and Pat both caught Zebra sea Bream and Mikes was monster and new boat record of 6lb 3oz, nearly 2lb bigger than the old record. Well done Mike you deserve to be in the record books.

Although we had a slower day today Pat managed to catch 3 small rays but due to a problem with the camera (I forgot it) there are no photos. Sorry Pat.

We had Shuji Hirayana with us today on a charter and he wanted to go and try fishing in the deeper water (100m+).  After half an hour fighting a very big fish which then escaped I think he changed his mind. We did have a really good day and he finished up with a big Moray and some unusual Reef fish.
