Hi tony, it doesn´t work that we came in summer 2011 back to the bm3 for fishing, it´s a pity! But for 2012 I’m sure I come for fishing to Puerto Rico! You know I missed in my life the white marlin and also the spearfish’s. My wife also likes the short journey to the canaries, it´s better for her than the long transfer to east Africa. Our plan is to come in late summer, august or so. We enjoy to see you next year. I’m happy, that you didn’t sell your boat!

Lochlann my son aged 7 and myself had a great day out and fishing on Blue Marlin 3. I was a bit worried at first, a spirited 7 year old on a boat for 6 hours! The time went very quickly, and we both had a great time, Lochlann caught a couple of fish so did I, but I think the whole experience of being free to explore on Tonys boat made the trip for both of us, Tony was engaging with all including the other two 7 year olds on the day. Well done a great day out for lads and dads.

Many thanks for all  the trips we had out on the boat, as usual first class service provided by the crew, unfortunately the fishing was quiet on some of the occasions I was  out ,but that is why it’s called fishing and not catching .Bitterly disappointed that the stingrays had decided to go on holiday while I was there, but managed to land a small one and lose another larger one but I guess that’s the way it goes .Still had a huge amount of fun catching small tuna and bream on the light tackle(if only more people fished like this).
As I have said before I would highly recommend this boat and crew regardless of your experience (ps a 100kg turtle is not to be messed about with on the deck especially in bare feet! ha ha)

Back home after some more trips on BM3
The crew managed to find a fish, again, and I couldn’t believe the speed it took off, it was still going when the boat was in reverse. It was either increase the drag or empty the reel. Unfortunately the line parted with the increased drag. Still there is always another day. If you want the best boat and crew in Gran Canaria look no further than BM3 , see you next year lads

Just back from an extended holiday on Canaria with several days out with Tony, Steve,Andy and Eduardo This must be the best boat on the Island, knowledgeable people who really want you to catch fish and enjoy your day out but at the same time with a genuine regard for the environment (unlike a lot of the other boats). If you are thinking of a days fishing this is the boat to choose.

Hi Guys,ive been on this boat on several occasions over the past 3 years and can honestly say this is the best crew on puerto rico just now english speaking and actually let you take control of any situation a lot of the spanish prefer you to leave the tackle alone until they want to give you the rod and gear which is ok but you then miss the take and the strike which as many fisherman will tell you this is part of the buzz we get,thanks guys im hopefully trying to come back in november after just leaving you on the 08/08/10 steve keep up the good work see you all soon

Hi Tony,

Thank you for looking after me & the family so well over the 4 days we had with you in July. I could not fault your team, Edwardo worked incredibly hard to find us a fish, Andy did a great job looking after the lures and in your absence Steve kept us amused! You have a great team. I hope the leg is better! The most amazing experience was watching the White Marlin swimming around the boat on 3 of the 4 days. Catching one was better though! Whilst the fishing was tough, we had 2 or 3 strikes each day and the double hook up we had on the Friday was an experience and I can still remember the feeling of the hook pulling after 5 minutes of frantic winding! Once again , thank you for looking after us so well and I would recommend anyone who is thinking about chartering a boat in Gran Canarias to spend some time on Blue Marlin 3.

hi tony back to cologne, first i´ve to ask, what´s about your health condition, joerg and me hope you´re getting better! we want to say thanks a lot for the 4 fullcharter on your first class boat BM3. i´ve never seen in more than 40 fullcharter in canarian waters such a good crew!! you, andy and eduardo were  the whole day looking for any unusual things offshore. i think we saw more than 10 billfish, had 4 strikes and joerg got his first really big spearfish, a very rare and elusive fish in the mediterranean and atlantic. we were very satisfied with our trips and we´ll come back next summer to get a big mama on the Blue Marlin 3. you all are very competent and sympathic, and what i´ve never seen on the canarian island: you trying other different methods and ideas to bring big fish to the boat. unnecessary to say that the BM3 was the most successful in the last month.

Back home to the rain in the UK after another very enjoyable week on BM3 . Didnt have much luck this year ,only had one short and unsuccessful fight with a white Marlin , but there is always another day .
If the reports being put out by other web sites were true loads of fish should have been taken , as far as I know only one was caught all week .
If the best boat in Porto Rico couldnt find them the others have no chance!!!

Hi tony,once again we came back between the 8th and the 22nd of june.Always a plesure to be on BM3.We had arranged multiple trips as usual,bottom fishing,the world famous part charter, a couple of full charters,and at no extra cost a really good barbie for a dodgie football game !(top chef kath)not to mention the few beers.Once again you pulled out all the stops, the attention to detail was second to none,you even rolled everyone out of bed early to accomadate my last trip.Some nice fish were caught but not the big one i was looking for !but thats fishing.On my last trip we had the plesure of my good friend steve (the geordie/pikey ticket seller)who lost his virginity with a nice dorado well done steve.Once again thanks a million to all the crew ,eduardo,andy,tony and last but not least steve.Hope to see u soon, depending on how my buddy ray gets on next week? A days fishing is a must when in Grand Canaria and only on BLUE MARLIN 3,thanks again lads.

Well, as usual a first class service provideed by Tony,Eduardo and Steve .
Firstly i hope i havent jinxed the boat as everything i hooked seemed to come off , including a large stingray , barracuda,tuna, and an amberjack.
Then of all the fish to catch i went and landed a tope a species of wich myself and my father have caught tagged and released over 350 over the past 25 years unbelievable ! Anyway other than that some really good sport , always a pleasure to fish on this boat , helpful and friendly staff and i would highly recomend it for anyone regardless of experience
Hope i have a luckier trip next time

I’m back in the daily grind here at work in the pouring rain whilst you boys are probably living it up on the boat. I just wanted to say thanks for the trip on the 5th August 2009 & all the help I got from you, Andy & Eduardo. It was an unbelievable feeling to catch a white marlin & it is something I definitely would like to do again (maybe a blue next time). The organised chaos of 7 hook-ups in around 70mins was an amazing & fantastic experience, one I will not forget quickly! After coming back to Puerto Rico year after year i would highly recommend the Blue Marlin 3 sport fishing boat that stands in the harbour, I’ve been on this boat numerous times, in fact I’ve done them all in both harbours but this boat and crew seem to be the best,the equipment and experience these guys have is far better than any other boat in the harbour,if we are not catching then we will up anchor and try another spot,also trying various methods of fishing i.e. on the bottom,midway up in the water,different baits, until somebody catches something.they really look after you on the boat and are very friendly, I’ve really enjoyed my time with them and will be back again in October when i have a couple of days with them. see you all soon.

Thanks again the fish a bit scarce this time but Lee did manage to catch his BIG fish he was fair chuffed it is not every day you catch a fish of 200lb still not as big as his dad’s but bigger than Trevor’s the pit bull is all ready looking at dates for our return sep/oct so see you all later on in the year we recommend this boat for the friendly attitude of its owner & crew having fished from it numerous times over the last few years.
