2 Day Special

We work closely with Canary Island carp fishing tours and are able to offer a great 2 day excursion. One trip on the Blue Marlin3 sport fishing and a day Carp fishing for some huge specimens up to and over 50lb. The carp fishing is year round here and can be as good in the winter (which is similar to English summers) as it is in the summer. Every thing on these trips is included; bait, tackle, food, drinks etc and we can even offer accommodation only a few meters from your rods.

For the benefit of our clients and to give them the best opportunity available to catch the fish they want to catch all trolling on blue marlin 3 will be done on either full charters or on part charters with a maximum of 4 fishermen. On these trips we will be fishing with 9 rods so that we can guarantee that every fisherman will have the use of 2 rods and for 25% of the trip they will have 3 rods. Please note that no other boat in Puerto Rico can guarantee the use of even 1 Marlin rod to an individual fisherman. We feel that spending  60€ on a trip where you have a chance of seeing a fish caught but very little chance of being the person in the chair is not as good value for money as spending more money and giving yourself  a very good chance that you will be the one catching the fish. By taking only 4 fishermen we also have the opportunity to allow 2 spectators (if booked with fishermen) to join the trip at a much reduced price allowing partners to enjoy a day out without to much expense.

Because of the way we work on Blue Marlin 3, which is very different to any other boat in Puerto Rico. With reduced numbers of clients to improve customer satisfaction and increase our clients chances of catching good quality fish instead of filling the boat with people to increase profits we have built up a very good reputation and client base, which is why we are the only boat confident enough to be able to offer this incredible opportunity to our clients. We feel that with increased costs and limited numbers of fish per client

these changes are both necessary and beneficial to us and our clients.

The full charter

A charter consists of paying for the hire of the boat and crew members for the day and can cater for a maximum of 6 people. On a standard charter you will be advised on the best options available to you by the crew, although the final decision will be yours to decide if you go trolling or bottom fishing, you will be supplied with everything you need free of additional cost, including all tackle and bait, a range of drinks and a light lunch.

Any special needs can be catered for providing enough notice is given, please notify us in advance if you are a wheelchair user or require a vegetarian meal etc ….

Half Charter

After the introduction of the part charter and its great success we have now introduced our exclusive half charter which is designed to give the individual angler an excellent opportunity to catch his dream fish without paying for a full charter. On this trip we will be fishing with 9 rods so the individual or two people that book one half of this trip will be guaranteed the use of 4 rods and for 50% of the trip they will be using 5 rods (3 x 80lb+2 x 50lb)

This trip has been introduced based on our client feed back and so is in keeping with our policy to give our clients what YOU want.

Included in the price of this trip are all drinks and lunch.

The part charter (max 4 individual fishermen)

This is our main trip in the summer and is aimed mainly trolling where the benefits to our anglers are enormous when compared to any trips offered by all the other boats in Puerto Rico. We feel the benefits of trolling with only 4 people and 9 rods are so great that we will not go trolling on any other trip except a full charter.

We can guarantee the use of one 80lb rod and one 50lb for the whole trip as well as the use of a second 80lb rod for 25% of Your trip.

PLEAS NOTE THAT NEARLY 50% OF THE MARLIN WE CAUGHT LAST YEAR WERE ON THE 9TH ROD WHICH YOU SHARE, WHICH MAKES OUR PART CHARTER A VERY DIFFERANT TRIP FROM SIMPLY PAYING FOR 2 RODS.

We have increased your chances of catching a marlin to almost as good as a full charter but for less than 25% of the cost.

Although these trips are mostly filled with serious fishermen trying to catch there dream fish, by taking only 4 people it allows us to spend more time with each individual person so that we can help even the novice or less experienced anglers enjoy there day out and hopefully catch one of our magnificent fish.

Please read carefully

There is a fishing trip being advertised and sold on another web site and another boat as a PART CHARTER, this trip has nothing to do with the proper part charter developed and perfected by me on my boat the BLUE MARLIN 3, which was introduced 3 years ago for the benefit of my clients.

The trip being sold now on other boats amounts to no more than paying for 2 rods (which you can do cheaper) and is designed only to increase profits and not to increase the clients chances of catching their fish of a life time, which was one of the main reasons I introduced the REAL PART CHARTER.

I introduced the trip which was ONLY for trolling because I quickly realized that dividing trips between trolling and bottom fishing is little more than a complete waste of the clients money and time especially early in the season when looking for tuna which can be 20 miles away or more (do the math’s) trolling at 7knots and being back inshore within 3 hours to go bottom fishing gives you virtually no chance of finding a fish, with out the time it takes to catch one. The only reason for dividing a trip is to save money on gas oil and has nothing to do with customer satisfaction.

The real PART CHARTER which is only available on my boat has some VERY important differences, these are;

1   The part charter was designed for TROLLING and is the only trip available anywhere on any boat apart from a full charter which guarantees you will be TROLLING for the whole trip.

2 On the PART CHARTER we really do have a MAXIMUM of 4 fishermen and we fish with 9 rods, with what is classed as the best rod (no7) sheared between the clients.

3 Nearly 50% of the BLUE MARLIN we caught last season were caught on the sheared rod, so this extra rod really does make an extremely big difference to the trip

4 Because this was a completely new trip when I introduced it, and I guaranteed only trolling I also guaranteed that if anyone booked a trip I would take them, so if there was only 1 ticket sold I would still do the trip and the lucky client would have the use of all 9 rods, if 2 were sold they would have 4 and a half rods each and if 3 tickets were sold the clients would have 3 rods each.

5   On PART CHARTERS we have 3 crewmen to improve locating, handling and photographing the fish.

Standard trip with 6 individual fishermen.

This is basic bottom fishing trip that we do through the winter and most afternoons in the summer.

Where the charters are aimed mainly at fanatical fishermen and specimen hunters [there are a lot of you out there] this trip caters for people that just want to go fishing and hopefully catch a lot of fish.

Once again on this trip because we take far fewer people than any other boat it allows us to spend more time with you so we can ensure you have a good day resulting in much happier clients, who will return in the future because they feel they had received good value for money.
